Dear neighbors of Miraflores,,

Welcome once again to our beautiful relaxing corner! It is a pleasure to welcome you to your second home, where the sea and the good temperatures (this year much more than usual) always offer us a good environment to enjoy life

On behalf of all the community presidents and Miraflores employees, I would like to wish you all a holiday full of happiness, relax and fun. This is the perfect time to recharge energies, forget the daily worries and immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility that this special place offers us.

As many of you know, this year we are facing challenges related to high temperatures and water shortages, as we have experienced an exceptionally dry winter and spring. In light of this situation, I encourage us to make a conscious effort to save water at all times. Every drop counts, and together we can make a significant contribution to the conservation of this precious resource. It is important to remember that water restrictions affect all municipalities on the Costa del Sol, and our commitment to saving water will be critical to overcoming this challenge.

I would like to highlight the work that is done throughout the year to keep Miraflores in perfect shape. The beautiful gardens, clean streets and all the facilities we enjoy would not be possible without the continuous effort of all the people and companies involved in their care. I want to express my special thanks to the Meridional team, our administrator, whose advice and daily work are invaluable to our community. I would also like to acknowledge and thank all the companies that work for us (Jaydo, Franjus Security, Higiser, Sambatel, Elodatec, Mirafibra, Reception) to keep this place in its best condition.

In addition, I cannot fail to mention the effort and constant support of all the presidents of the communities that conform Miraflores. Thanks to their dedication and teamwork, we continue to improve year after year, and each season brings us new opportunities to make this place an oasis of well-being and joy.

Weed clearance on the pedestrian walkway that connects us to the beach

We are pleased to inform you about the recent clearing of the undergrowth that made it difficult to cross the pedestrian walkway that crosses the motorway and connects us to the beach. We are aware of the importance of keeping this access in optimum condition and have worked closely with our maintenance and cleaning team to ensure that it looks its best and, above all, is a little safer for everyone.

This bridge, which gives us a direct connection to the wonderful coastal environment and the Senda Litoral, has undergone a necessary process of weeding. With this action, we wanted to start improving this important link between Miraflores and the beach. This improvement not only beautifies our community, but also reinforces the safety of all those who use it on a daily basis.

Increase of Rubbish Bins in Strategic Locations after Agreement with Mijas Town Hall.

We are pleased to share some news that will contribute significantly to keeping our community cleaner this summer. Following a fruitful agreement with Mijas Town Hall, we have managed to increase the number of bins in strategic areas within Miraflores for this time of year when there is a significant increase in footfall. It is essential to have sufficient waste collection points to keep our communities in excellent condition, and this joint effort will allow us to ensure that during the busiest months of Miraflores, everything is cleaner.

This increase in the availability of waste bins will translate into greater convenience for all homeowners, facilitating the proper disposal of waste and contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment. Our continued collaboration with Mijas Town Hall is an example of the possibilities for improvement that we have when the Board and Administrator coordinate the necessary actions for the benefit of our communities. Let’s take this opportunity to remember the importance of separating waste correctly and using the bins responsibly. Together, we can keep our beautiful environment clean and make Miraflores an even nicer place to live and enjoy

Reinforcement of the Surveillance Service by Franjus: Your Safety is Our Priority

In Miraflores, the safety and well-being of our owners are of utmost importance to us. For this reason, the security company Franjus, in charge of the surveillance of our communities, has increased its efforts to guarantee a safe and peaceful environment at all times.

The reinforcement of the surveillance service provided by Franjus means an increased presence of security personnel in Grand Community. The reinforcement aims to maintain a constant presence, carry out regular patrols and respond efficiently to any situation that may arise. The partnership with Franjus is our ongoing commitment to the safety and security of all Miraflores homeowners and residents. Therefore we stress the importance of using the red boxes in case you see anything suspicious in your community. If in doubt press the button and the patrol will come immediately.

This increased patrol service not only gives peace of mind, but also strengthens our community by providing a safe environment for all to enjoy.
